Primary Plus is the brainchild of Manbir Bedi. His role as Creative Director of Editorial and Design ensures that the overall design sensibility for all children’s products and events published under Primary Plus Media. After doing his electronics engineering and projects in fuzzy logic and neural networks he found his passion in creative enhancement in children and rest is history. He brings an entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to “play for high score“ to everything he does at Primary Plus Media..

His concern is to build a coding academy in each school from Montessori. When he’s not at his desk, you can find him networking or training kids in coding and artificial Intelligence. In his free time he is either reading or on a long drive. He is also the recipient of a number of awards in Innovation in Education.

NEETU BEDI

Neetu Bedi is the co-founder of Primary Plus. Discovering her passion to express her pedagogical innovations with a fusion of words and pictures within a story has led her to take a key role of writer and Managing Editor at Primary Plus. She considers herself very fortunate to have spent over ten years creating award-winning children’s magazines—after all, what could be better than engaging with children every day.

It is to her passion create fun and vibrant content for children that is research-based and with productive inputs from top educationists of the country. In her free time she likes to alternate her time between reading and doing social work for the poor children and caring for animals.

Agniete oversees the implementation and execution of Cutie, its content and digital marketing initiatives, enhancing brand awareness, generating demand, and empowering the sales team to generate business worldwide.
She and her team thrive on developing creative and engaging programs to build Cutie brand and bottom line.

Neelam is on the Primary Plus executive team as Sr. Author. She is a typical Delhite who graduated in 1974 from Lady Irwin College, with a specialization in Child Development and found Primary Plus as the right medium to articulate her thoughts. As a child, the passion of storytelling made her expressive in her thoughts which eventually led her to write award-winning articles and stories on child development. Her articles on how to have a safe and loving home and ways to spend quality time with family―playing, singing, reading, and talking have been an inspiration to parents over a decade now. . She has a strong belief in maintaining a friendly approach and keeping things simple and straightforward.

She is an avid traveller and likes to explore on ways to enable every child born to have the best start in life, to thrive and to develop her or his full potential.



DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNTING

PRASHANT NARANG

As the Director of Accounting, Prashant is responsible for the integrity and accuracy of Primary Plus Media accounts. He manages a diverse range of accounting requirements, billing functions and other activities that help keep our Company-financially sound.

Some of the work Prashant is most proud of involves the development of processes and initiatives to improve our accounting structure through the implementation of checks and balances – no small feat in a fast-paced, geographically diverse Co. like Primary Plus. He has authored a book “Four Buckets”.




TECHNICAL COACH

NAINA CHOPRA

“Never stop learning because life never stops teaching”.

Prior to joining the Primary Plus team, Naina gained experience as an Interior Designer. She has always been inspired to provide guidance in designing and developing technology-related professional-learning opportunities for kids, as well as delivering training to teachers to engage learners.

Throughout her ten years in Primary Plus, Naina has executed kids events, launched art-n-craft campaigns in schools, developed content, learnt coding and mastered teaching coding to primary kids without computers. As a result, she has developed a deep understanding of a multitude of coding and artificial intelligence techniques.

She can be found reading fiction, drinking coffee, attending yoga classes and indulging in thrift shopping. Her favourite pastime is being a make up artist.

SHEFALI SOOD

Shefali has a bachelor’s degree in Computer science from LPU, Punjab. She grew up in a village near Hoshiarpur, Punjab, where she whiled away the hours playing make-believe in the ravine. A storyteller at heart with an obsession for learning, Shefali constantly started searching an exciting opportunity to amplify her creative thoughts after considering herself very fortunate to have spent over five years as a coder – after all, what could be better than engaging with art, literature, and fellow book lovers every day. Her strong association with Primary Plus is a correlation between her technical know-how and creative ability. She has a keen desire to support teachers to enhance their coding skills. She believes in raising student achievement levels. She dreams of becoming an ed-tech integration specialist.

In her free time she enjoys running, sewing, solving puzzles, listening to music and yoga.
